Description
I had some left over items from Thanksgiving crafts I did with my son, and had the urge to do a study of controlled droplet photos. I used a bright lamp with the shade off and a piece of foil.. and my macro filter. Something that *Savatey had said in passing stuck in my head. " ..it's the result. You can imagine what you get." After about 30 minutes of try and fail, I realized that the fun was in staging and figuring out the lighting. This is something that I rarely do. I usually only use natural light, and natural water I stumble upon outdoors.

The drop looks like a tiny ladybug hiding in a feather.
