1: Ben Heine "A Moment of Happiness"

This talented artist has a softness and a firm voice. Easily falling into first place, this deviation isn't his normal medium, but here he shows us a new side of himself. Check out his gallery for politically motivated and traditionally drawn pieces that rival legends such as Herbert L. Block, and his alter ego "Hubzay" [link] for photographs to inspire the soul.
2: Robyn 'amethystscream' "Another Bit of Color"

Here we find a simple drawn portrait that has been under appreciated even by its parent. The striking use of reds and blues give a vintage appearing woman a beautiful dreamlike quality. The artist has few works on display like this one, though her other works showcase a talent for intense detail and whimsy.
3: Kat Sanderson "whitby 4 black and white"

An almost demented angle gives this photo the feeling that you are laying on the walkway, half unconscious. The tone and feel of the photo is solid and striking. Perfect silhouettes caught in a moment of candid loitering make this image a keeper! The artist surprises us with adorable vectors hiding in her gallery amongst some stunning photography.
4: Jennifer Mitchell "Alice: Wonderland Hostage"

Since the moment I first laid eyes on Jennifer's work, I was in love. With a great mix of fiction, whimsy, Disney and darkness this artist has everything. Style, imagination and the talent to make dreams into reality. Visit her gallery, and I bet you will find one thing to favorite, if not more!
5: Ulrik Nielsen "Julia"

While searching through deviations with keyword "Julia" I stumbled across this painting. Only two deviations in this style grace this artists gallery, but I see much potential in the two paintings. It drew my eye over to it from the moment it loaded the search findings. The other painting is titled "Black Wings" [link]
6: 'Mensaman' "Boards 2 - Lightbulb Jellyfish"

This artist has a gallery full of paintings waiting to be hung on your wall! I think that he has something for everyone. With bright color and youthful flairs, this artist's gallery is evolving rapidly and deserves a second look. Another work from him that I adore is this [link] and I'm hoping to have this piece in a print in the near future!
7: 'Userpatorica' "Janis Joplin"

While Janis is not the only celebrity that graces this gallery, this artist shouldn't be pigeonholed. She shows a strong and inspired talent to bring intensity and life to drawn eyes. At 18 years old this artist should be watched, as she could catapult at any time to exquisite and passionate portraiture.
8: Kate 'SpyKate' "Music"

Kate takes us to a intriguing place with her "Black-and-white story". She has created two endearing characters that in my opinion, make a great series. The entire B&WS collection has less than 5 favorites per deviation, so I felt compelled to share it with you. Kate also has some beautiful feminine nature photography, with a stunning photo titled "Forget-me-nots" here: [link] which has a surprisingly low number of views (15) and deserves to be seen by you!
